Indeed, it has been quite some time since I last wrote my last entry. Well, recapping on the time gap between this post and the last, I do recall pronouncing 3rd Feb 2008, English A1 Homework Day! But, somehow, on Monday when I went to school, a shocking revelation hit me when I asked my English teacher about the homework on LMS, only to find out that what I did for 3 hours on the computer was basically… FOR NAUGHT! RARR! Because of that extra work that I had, I was unable to finish my commentary on Strange Meeting which I was supposed to do, but I gave priority to the work on LMS, which turned out to be FOR NAUGHT! RARR! (Note the repetition) So, basically, today was a time to catch up on my work and class by copying my friend’s notes and finishing homework assigned while I was at band practice and those which I could not finish over the weekend between classes.
Well, my Econs teacher was nice, but… Oh shit! I forgot to call my teacher to ask for the bloody blue Econs book! OMG! I am so dead… Hopefully John remembers to lend me his… I shall try to remind him… But… my memory fails me a lot of times… One too many, too frequent. So, back to the story, my Econs teacher was nice, so he let us off about 20minutes before time I assume, and I stayed back in class to try to finish the commentary on the poem The Victims that was given to us this morning, which other classes did over the weekend. I would not really complain about it as empirically (trying to find alternative words for ‘basically’, it is getting a bit too dull), I like these stressful situations where you would most likely improve and be able to work under the stress and pressure of exam conditions. Well, that is the rather positive way of looking at it, despite my very pessimistic outlook of things very often than not.
I found my commentary to be very good, though like always, I cannot picture my thoughts in my mind and string them up into a beautiful coherent and logical and sound reasoned argument. That is probably why I don’t score very well in English commentaries. Bleh… I’ll just die. Haha! I’m going mad.
Speaking of which, band practice was vveeerrryyy with a capital V (makes me wonder why sometimes I, and people, do these wierd things like saying what I said above, when I could just put a capital V to the word? Humans…Sheesh~). I tried to cope with the tiredness of my lips but, to avail to a certain extent (does this even exist?). In the end while playing Pirates I crumbled to dust and was just pushing whatever air I could into my horn to get the sound out.
After practice, Mr. Ronald asked me to carry his instrument for him back to the LT, so I was like… Are you crazy?! (I mean, I had a horn under my right armpit, a file in my left hand, and a handphone in my left hand… wait that’s two hands… WTH?! okay, erm a file in my left arm. Ah… that’s more like it) Then, noticing that I could get rid of my handphone, he put it into my chest pocket. Then, he still passed me his clarinet anyways. =S Oh well, it’s nothing much anyways… just that… I CAN NEVER GET HOLDING A CLARINET RIGHT! (I’ve borrowed and held many clarinets, yet whenever I first hold it, I hold it wrongly… evidence would be that I thought the right hand was at the top, and the left hand was placed at the bottom. There, I said it. =S Laugh world, LAUGH!) Oh well, so I tried to keep my body from bobbing up and down as I usually would walk when I was jolly, and I was jolly then, by doing most of the lifting of my feet by my feet. (hard to explain, take it as that)
So with John’s help of holding the clarinet while I kept my horn, I kept my horn (OMG, this post is getting very lame, I feel lame, but I can walk! DOH! *runs into a wall*). Then despite my aching thumb from carrying my horn, I sacrificed it to carry the clarinet for him. (If you don’t know how pain my thumb was, I had to put the horn on my lap to play because of the pain. I’M NOT LAZY! @@) My noble fingers! My admiration goes to you! Love you guys!
Holding the clarinet… (1day later)… still holding…(5days later)… still holding…(2weeks later)… Hey! Ronald! Come carry your instrument!… Hey! Where did he go?!?!…*tsk*…(1month later)… still holding… (2years later)… still holding… (5years later)…Jono! OMG You seriously gonna play his clarinet? OMG! *got snatched away* okayy… *give me back*…hold…(10years later)…Hey Ronald! Faster carry your instrument leh… My thumb hurts! @@… Finally… He took back his clarinet.
Reading and Understanding: How many years does it take for Ronald to take back his instrument? Ans: 10years. Correct!
Fine… that was a bad joke… Nah… it wasn’t even a joke… I’m mad…*Cuckoo bird pops out of my head and chirps Cuckoo Cuckoo*
Well, the time came where everyone leaves the building, but before that Mr. Leow and Mrs. Leow must be teased! Haha! Mrs. Leow left and said goodbye. I almost vomitted the greeting “Bye Mrs. Leow”, but the little green cricket that sings songs in my head stopped me from carrying out that act. So, I just greeted with “Buh-bye!” I gave away all but one of my FOX sweets which I was supposed to suck on because I had only one and a late recess to put it, so that I don’t faint like I did… almost did in Primary School. So, empirically (note the determination), I gave away my life-savers! OH NO! . . .
XIN YU! XIN YU IS TOTALLY INSANE! She is one mad woman. Asked me to go down with her just to do something and not stay in the LT to do my work then when we went down, she say… “Let’s go up. Not hungry. Don’t feel like eating.” THANKS LO! I CAME DOWN BECAUSE OF YOU THEN YOU LIDDAT ASK ME GO UP! GRR! Oh well, suan-ing her has now become my full time hobby (see, I am creating more terms unheard of as we go along… brink of insanity). WEE! Band has now become more interesting as the number of people to suan increases.
By the way, just a point to add, I remember the word someone used to say, “niao”. I think it is wierd… doesn’t sound like ANY dialect, but in any case, when I heard of someone saying “ngiao”, which means stingy in hokkien or something, it made me remember of that word “niao”. So I was just thinking maybe the word were the same, just that the person who said “niao” misunderstood the meaning and is still probably using it in the wrong context.
Haha! That’s all. Goodnight!
