The day started slow… sleeeuuuuwwww… I was so tired despite the fact that I slept quite a lot comparatively to the nights before.

*Skip, skip, fast forward*

Band! Amos, Kah Wei and I went to Holland V to buy flowers and chocolates for TArts people whom we knew and were acting this night. I thought the shop was a bit of a rip off as the wrapping was not all that fantastic, and also, the flower was not kept alive by a valve of water or even wet cotton wool. I bought 3 stalks of orange roses for Gua Khee, Asyikin, and Bobbie? Well, to me, they were pink. So like w/e. Amos bought 2 stalks of tulips/lilies (can’t really differentiate) for Gua Khee and Asyikin.

After getting the flowers, we went to Cold Storage to get the chocolates. I wanted something to munch/chew on, so I wanted to get marshmallows, however, I saw yoghurt gummies! And they are just about the best things to munch on, so I was going for it only to find out it was $3. Then… I SAW MY FAVOURITE PIGGY GUMMIES! In Marks and Spencer they sell the ones with cola flavour if I’m not wrong, but these were fruitty flavours. I just HAD to buy them! Piggies are the CUUUTEST THING ON EARTH! Almost. Probably. Unless there is a substitute good (as learnt in economics today). Turns out, they were $3.15, but I had no choice but to buy them as I was already paying for them when I found out since there was no price tag AT ALL when I picked it out.

After getting off the bus at school, I opened my bag of treats and started eating the little piggies, all the way to the LT. Kai Ting got chosen to play Euphonium and was complaining about the instrument so I played for her the Euphonium solo of Phantom of the Opera to the best of my ability for her, and well, she sort of liked it I guess? Apparently she doesn’t know the toilets of the old block, so I had to bring her around, like some PSL bringing a Sec 1 around on Discovery Camp.

Ronald hurried us to the Astro Turf and made Kah Wei, the only person who was going to the rehearsal and whom I talk to stay back in the LT to teach Yi Fan how to play the Clarinet. =S So, walked to the turf… Ronald shun-po-ed his way to the turf ’cause I left earlier then him, but he ended up there earlier than me. Weird. I thought he teleported or something. Freaky.

Played… Played… Stupid John went home to sleep, and left me there all alone to fend for myself when we played the fanfare for Robin Hood, with the high As to contend with, and the juniors not really helping at all with them. Die John! DIE!

I gave out my little piggies to people, Amos, Daryl, Ronald, and Hsin Yu, since she was the last and to finish it, she had to throw the wrapper away! Hah! Me ish evilsh! So we murdered all the little piggies and ate them all, and then we continued to play more songs. Grats on SOME PEOPLE being able to do 11 chin-ups when I can only do a measely 2 to 3. Amazing improvement between holidays and now for that certain SOMEONE. Hah!

Back to LT, people left, Derek, Daryl, Sam Ho, Kah Wei, Amos, and I went over to Wah Chee, or known as *dum-dum-dum-dum* for dinner. We felt full so most of us bought tidbits, push pops, and drinks to last through the play.

Love/Retreat was a splendid production! OMG! I loved every single bit of it! It was funny, hair-raising, touching, loving, hilarious, comical, everything in one, including ACTION(the dances)! I walked away from it feeling so satisfied. It was better than A LOT of the movies that I have watched lately like CLOVERFIELD, DAYWATCH etc. Too much junk shows lately, one of them turned out to be like the holy grail of plays, Love/Retreat!

My first rose went to Asyikin (in no order of merit), she seemed a bit dazed and slightly lost when I gave her her rose and congratulated her on her performance. But nonetheless, GREAT JOB ON THE BEDROOM SCENE WITH THE SCREAMING-AT-THE-SIGHT-OF-THE-BOXERS-THEN-SLAPPING-HIM SCENE! That was unexpected and very well performed so much so that the element of surprise was there without us as the audience being able to think of that possibility of happening.

Next rose went to the 52 year old “Ah Ma” whom unfortunately already had white hair. Lots of them. Quotes, “Shuddup Margeret”, “That was what I said dear”. Old Marg was literally attacked by us when we gave her the flowers. Made fun of her white hair, curled hair which looks like a wig, and many other things. Haha!

Last rose went to Bobbie Jen! Jen, Jenn, Jen, Jenn… Haha! So cool huh! Anyways, we hugged after giving her the rose in blessing and thanks, and I must say, her part was the best part. She delivered the message so clearly, with the help of her partner, emotions were there fully, fully developed. Hair-raising performance at touching and moving scenes, making us, the audience feel for you, and with you, experiencing what you have gone through, is thinking and feeling. Outstanding acting! Grats on your performance!

After that, Amos, Daryl, Sam Ho, and I went to Holland V again to have our supper. We met Genevieve on our way down from the upper deck of the bus 74. We decided to go eat at Essential Brew because Sam Ho had a $5 voucher. Ordered, 500 years later, the food came. Ate and chat for VERY VERY LONG until like a while ago… 12+am or so. Gen didn’t follow us; she went with her friend. We told ghost stories over the table and Kah Wei got too freaked out that he closed his ears. The 2 women in front of me had their face glued to the handphones that were emitting blue light, so they looked like ghost and it freaked me out a bit. When I came out of the toilet, the waitress was there, and I got spooked.

When we made our payment, we found out that the voucher was only meant for Mondays to Thursdays, and today was a Friday, so we couldn’t use it. =S We stayed long enough for them to give us some complementary food (ice cream). We ate, paid, and left.

Sam Ho fetched me to the MRT junction and I dropped off and started walking home. On my way home, out of a sudden, a guy on the bike rides beside me slowly, and when I turned my head to see, I got shocked, only to regain stability after a few seconds. That was absolutely scary.

Came home, bathed, typed this blog, going to sleep now. Tired. Yawn. Goodnight! Tomorrow I will have a fun time foolin’ around! Haha!
