The week to come.

Short and simple
Keep this I would.
Draggy and naggy
It won’t be.

Seven days ahead
Nearer it seems to be than far off.
The end point in sight
But can get no insight.

A show in the chemical circus
It be first.
Jesters and performers
Impressing and awing.

Night falls
An inquiry:-
Aches and festering wounds
Will they last?

Next be a skip
In tempo.

Back on track
A parade marches.
Candid camera, rays that penetrate,
A skip of the heart.

But only to return
With hope in jest
To laugh, cry,
Feel.

With a skip and trot,
The verdict that passed
On yonder days
Will come to play.

Soon.

But before the joker be played,
The fifth time be running.
Tentages be erected,
Peasants be aroused.

Night.
Fires be made
Imps be playin’
Wolves howl high to the moon.

Time,
           Time,
                      Time,
       Gathering.

As birds of a feather,
Scales on a fish,
Tentacles of an octopus,
The rocks of a fossil,
Music on a score.

Energy of Pirates
Be played,
A song be sung,
Life be risen up high into the sky.

A prayer to God be thrown up
High
To write a
Note to God
Amidst these

Time,
          Time,
                    Time,
                              Time,
                                        Time,
                                                  Time,
                                                            Time,
Time,
          Time.
